Park and Facility Worker in Partille Municipality
As a park and facility worker, you contribute to creating a pleasant and well-maintained outdoor environment in Partille Municipality.
In your role focused on Streets, tasks include minor construction work and repairs, such as maintenance of signs, traffic devices, stormwater facilities, and artistic structures. This may also involve paving, setting/repairing curbs, and laying tiles. In your work, you will also need to perform simple surface repairs and handle machinery and tools. In winter, snow removal and ice control are included.
The work is physical and also involves the use of machines and equipment carriers. On-call duty may be required during winter.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a few years of work experience in the field. You have a B driver's license (extended qualifications are an advantage). It is beneficial if you have documented training in construction or other relevant education. You should be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.
As a person, you are handy, service-oriented, and have a positive attitude towards the public and colleagues. You are responsible, meticulous, and engaged in your work to create a pleasant and well-maintained outdoor environment in Partille Municipality.

Your New Workplace
The Street and Park Unit is part of the Technical Department in Partille Municipality and primarily works with the operation, maintenance, and care of the municipality's public areas such as streets, squares, pedestrian and bicycle paths, lighting, grass areas, plantings, playgrounds, and forests, etc. We also ensure that waste management and winter road maintenance function properly. At the Street and Park Unit, we also have the municipality's vehicles and storage management. Together, we are 24 people, sharing our premises at Brodalsvägen 17 with the municipality's water and sewage unit.
